Ladies, Cut the Drama...

Ladies, do you know what kills me sometimes when we're in so called relationships with dudes. Its how we get so attached to them so fast. (I'm only saying we cause I'm a female too) We basically already know from jump street what the relationship is about. Whether its going to be just a fling or a cut buddy. Yeah, sometimes guys lead us on but we already know what time it is. Its our emotions getting played and we're only getting played if we allow ourselves to get play. Lets cut the drama out.

All the "I can't believe he's doing this to me" or "I can't believe he's with her" or still with her. "Why doesn't he call me?" Your basically causing yourself to look dumb. You are also creating feelings for someone who probably doesn't feel the same way. Just because you're having or had sex with a person doesn't automatically put claim on that person. Or even means that your a couple.

What kills me even more that's crazy? Its when females try to confront the other female. Its almost never the other females fault. Its either your own for creating the attached feelings and allowing it to happen or the guy's fault if indeed you are in a relationship with him. Let's be realistic about it ladies, whose choice was it? He wasn't forced. So, then I would say he was not loyal to you, totally disrespectful, untrustworthy, etc etc.

Keep this in mind ladies. Don't be a puppet. Be the puppeteer. Control the situation. It will eliminate a bunch of the unnecessary stress, drama, and confusion. If you don't know, get the relationship clarified so that you both know. This reaction can go both ways. Its just more common for women to react this way. I would just love to see more women having more control of the men's kryptonite.

Sweet Mist

Caressing my body softly

Our skins touching barely
Slaving me, teasing me
I can't believe this is happening.

Trying to fight off this temptation
I feel as if there are no limitations
For tonight, don't let me fool you
I only want to do you.

Caught in the moment, I cannot leave

For you have what my body needs
This seductive mediation has my body reacting with no hesitation
To have your strong warmth please me with a sensual visitation

To satisfy the needs below the waist
This desire for passion fell like sweet mist
Wanting to clinch this moment like a fist
Let's just end tonight with a kiss.

Mean Mugging kp by Da Creative Genius

My mean muggin' face was remixed and drawn by a friend who goes by the name of "Da Creative Genius" aka Dan The Man (DTM).

"Mean mugging is my favorite past time", say DTM.

"The Man" he is and indeed, a "creative genius". DTM draws free hand, tattoos, and is one of the sickest graphic artist/designer I know. I admire his work because you can tell he puts time into it and its original. Dan takes the images from his mind and draws out these vivid & detailed images, creating masterpieces. It doesn't matter if its on paper or by computer. He's mastered his craft in all areas.

After reading a little biography about him, it stated that he has received "praise and trouble" from his skill. "Praise from the artist community and trouble from teachers and employers who thought DTM drew too much."

Sometimes its better to follow your heart cause you never know where your talents can led you. In this case, DTM has decided to follow his desire to draw. Now he creates and sells his designs and drawings for print and the web.

Make a Stand

Throughout live we go through different extreme circumstances that causes us to re-think and re-evaluate. Life can only be as hard as you make it to be. Stop trying so hard to please the next person and be true to yourself. Once your caught into every ones gossip, you lose that special nature within yourself that defines who you are.

Sometimes in life, its better to follow what's in your heart and not what's in someone else's. Just because its said to be of your best interest. Its not always the case. At the end of any given day, its only you who has to live with that decision. You are the seeker that has to seek what fits for you.

Life is all about choices and its up to you make the right one. There's a difference when making choices that seems right at moment. What about in the long run? Will that have still been the right decision or path?

Never fear how others may judge you. Its you who has to be happy. Therefore, no else should matter. There's nothing better than a stress free conscious. You just never know what a persons motive may have been.

Voice your opinion. Stand up for yourself and stand your ground. Never let anyone talk down upon you. How can anyone respect you if don't?

You have 2 ears for a reason. To listen. So, be aware of whats being said around you? Create a change.

All in all, don't make life harder than it has to be. Focus on your well-being. Observe your surroundings and listen. You never know what maybe useful...

Public Image: Step 1: Your Swag

When building your Public Image: Step 1: Your Swagger

In this discussion, you will learn and have an idea of how to develop your personal image. Image is everything and its really shows how we carry ourselves. In the industry, this can be very important. Presentation is the key as well as within ourselves. So, its important when you step out your house, you look presentable. If you don’t care, why should anyone else.

So, let’s first begin with your swag. The way you walk says a lot. If you strut like a model with pride and confidence, you will grab attention. A model’s walk is demanding and if done right, it brings out that sexiness in you. So, if you slouch when you walk, lets tighten up that spine, pull them shoulders back, hold up that chin, bring them legs together, and strut. =]

Good Posture. You don’t want to be a conference or out on a date slouching all over the table. So, if you are like me, you probably sit in a office chair all day. Probably one that adjusts. If so, even better. Use the chairs features to align your body. When sitting, just imagine a imaginary vertical line. You want your back straight and everything from your head to your hips to align to the back of your ears. When your not forcing it, less strain provides good breathing. Your feet should be evenly balanced on the floor. If not, use a foot stool. Also, your thighs should not be pressed against the edge of the chair that stops circulation.

Note: Some think its cute but avoid crossing legs (crossed down low by the ankles is fine). Avoid slouching over and tilting too. Anything that’s not evenly balanced avoid.

Now, after doing some research for a demanding walk, I found some helpful tips from Kimora’s book, “Fabulosity”. So, keep these in mind the next time your out and about:

“1) Rather than planting each foot in line with its hip two parallel lines, bring both feet closer to one single center line when you step. It gives a sexy swing and an impression of length to your legs. Stretch your steps out a little, too, because longer strides give a beautiful flow to your movement.”

2) Keep your chin up and your neck long; if you’re out there totally on your own, the gaze should be level and softly focused at a spot straight as you move. This suggests assurance and pride--you know where you’re going, and you know how to get there.

3) Don’t over-swing your arms! It destroys the illusion of softness and makes you look like you’re a military cadet. Notice if one are swings higher than the other: That’s a common model problem.

4) Keep your fingers relaxed. It’s the smallest detail in modeling work--both in studio photos and on the runway--and people often overlook it because they’re busy concentrating on other stuff. But tight, clenched fists or ramrod straight fingers both signify one thing: fear! Let your fingers gently curl and brush your legs as they move.

5) Project your personality. Once in a crowd, try to engage at least a few onlookers with your eyes and a smile (though don’t nod to everybody). It triggers an energy around you and makes sure you come across as a hot momma that everyone wants to meet, not chilly ice princess.

6) When stepping out for the night or day, flair depends on how you feel. Its got to start from the inside out, and more than anything, you’ve got to feel good about what you’re wearing. Give yourself some good time to prepare, so you don’t feel rushed and stressed. Last-minute wardrobe crises will completely blow your cool. And practice walking in those four-inch heels before your big night out--give them a test drive on carpet, wood, and asphalt!

Let’s practice these habits to stop our bad ones.

*Remember your appearance is a form of self-promotion.
